RoJean Loucks, harpist

RoJean Loucks is a Lindsborg, KS harpist who performs in north central Kansas, teaches, arranges, and composes music for the folk harp.

YOU MAY BE one of those brides who knows in advance the music you want to have included in your special day. For many, however, the choices may seem overwhelming. This guide is intended to serve as a starting point. In the PDF below, you’ll find that tunes are often placed in more than one category, as they are equally suitable for either. If your favorites are not included, let me know what you want, and I’ll do my best to provide it.

A Few More Details

Because each wedding has unique details, pricing will be provided upon request. Please contact me regarding fees and availability for your special day. We will schedule a complimentary private consultation in my home so I can play through the music you want to hear and answer any of your questions. I will request that you sign a contract; a simple agreement that lays out all the plans in writing so everyone has a clear understanding of expectations.

Be sure to check with your wedding coordinator and/or the church in advance (if yours is a church wedding) to learn if there are any music restrictions for wedding ceremonies.

I have amplification if needed for the venue, or I can connect with the house system. It is helpful if I can attend the wedding rehearsal, or be in contact with your wedding coordinator or sound engineer, to determine the optimum sound for your location.

I will arrive at the wedding location at least an hour before the prelude music begins, to allow for unloading harp and equipment, setting up, tuning, etc.
